FIVE PILLARS
What are the five pillars?
Evangelism
"How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?"
Romans 10:14
We are committed to reach our community and the surrounding region for Christ by prioritizing monthly outreaches, community events, our Isaiah House food drives, care teams, and youth initiatives.
Discipleship
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
Making disciples who make disciples is at the core of our decision making. Out of the authority of Jesus, we submit to Him as we pour our time and resources into equipping the Body for the work of ministry.
Prayer
…but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
At the core of everything, we position ourselves in prayer. Three to five days a week you will be able to join us for live worship and prayer.
Community
And let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25
The life God restored through the cross does not begin or end in a church building, but is the day-to-day life of every believer receiving and giving the Love of God throughout life. Community is what grounds us as people. At The Church at Benbrook, we are intentional to create a true experience of community outside of Sunday morning.
Worship
Come, let’s worship and bow down,
Let’s kneel before the Lord our Maker.
Psalm 95:6
Worship is the heartbeat of our culture. It is far more than something we “come to do.” It is the foundational purpose we come to gather as God’s people. Worship is the expression of the human heart for Jesus to receive what He was promised, and we joyfully gather to do so.
